Lasermax Field Test

Went to my farm over the weekend and was finally able to fire my Glock with the lasermax installed. Point of aim was excellant and there are no adjustments. The only gliche I noticed was that after three or four rounds were fired the laser on/off switch slid to the off position once but this could have been due to the switch not being pushed in all the way. Over all I am pleased with the accuracy but still need to shoot some more to figure out the on/off situation. Laser is bright and target aquisition in dark/near dark conditions is amazing. Also in the fog, you can actually see the whole beam all the way out to the target, it looks like a thin red light saber. Very cool tool and am happy with the product.

Strong points of the lasermax:

Installation takes seconds
Completely internal system replaces guide rod
No modifications to the weapon required
Only NATO approved laser sight
Glock Factory Endorsed
No adjustments needed
No special holster requirments
Bright/Clear lighting
Pulsating Dot increases eyes ability to aquire target
Better than night sites
Cost: $265.00 plus shipping

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

I have a laser on my mini 14. Its a BSA. It does have adjustments for windage, and elevation. This is accomplished by 4 set screws, that you adjust. It works just as you described. Mine has a contact switch, held on with velcro. Lasers are here to stay. I think they will be available as standard equiptment soon. I was thinking of getting one for my 1911. 249.99 is too much for me. I paid 79.99 for the bsa.

I have a G22, I bought the lasermax through Blue Mountain Police and Fire. The $265.00 was for choice of model from glocks to 1911's.

rameleni1, The lasermax is not a cheap toy, it is factory recommended and endorced by glock, its the only NATO approved laser sighting available and it is totally internal, no bulky protrusions hanging from the weapon and no need for special holsters. Comparing a BSA laser to a Lasermax is like comparing a Swarovski to a Tasco or a Leupold to a BSA.
