Camo "skin" ???

Hi Folks,

I am looking for something, and not sure what it's called, so for the sake of this email I'm calling it "Camo skins". I want to turn my wood-grain stocks on my 12G shotgun into camoflage. I have seen this product before, it's a tacky kind of stuff that adheres to the stock, kinda like the stickers you put on the inside of a window...

1) does anyone know what it is called
2) doesn anyone know where I could find it
3) is it good, or is it more headache than it's worth

There are other people who will paint the stocks for me, but that is rather costly seeing as how the shotgun was so cheap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It will only be a headache if you decide to take it off.The slip on socks always were a good alternative for me.

    I agree with these guys..I put that stuff on a bow once, It took me 3 hours and a gallon of mineral spirits to get the glue off!

    A slip-on camo sock is definately the way to go...

    Why not opt for the cammo socks that are available. They come in woodland or mossy oak and they also protect your weapon from incidental dings and scratches you can incur in the field. If you do choose the sock though, never store your shotgun or rifle with the sock on as it can induce rusting. I feel it is the better option to tapes or paint.

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
