Is this for real? I thought civilains couldnt be trusted with evil dangerous firearms such as this.

I wonder how far performance would drop off compared to the barrel length of the P-90.

Just out of curiosity, Why is this gun not avaialable for civilian use?
My guess is that the ammo is specifically designed for armor piercing and deep penetration applications (i.e., for LEO and military, not sport).

She was only a fisherman's daughter,
But when she saw my rod she reeled.
What's the advantage? I can't see any reason I'd want to own a 5.7mm pistol.
Not an answer, but some info:

Ammo is out there, but expect to pay $3.50 - $5.00 per round for practice ammo. Currently FN and Federal are suppliers of the ammo, both of which restrict the sales of ammo to LEO & class 3 dealers for demo. My C3 dlr has had one for around 2 yrs, got to shoot 5 rds out of the pistol. Had light recoil, pretty accurate, but the grips and balance is off & butt heavy. The 57 with AP is suppose to defeat 40+
plus layers of Kelvar at 50 yds. Current FN retail is $785 to LEO's.
How many you want at $1000 each.
