I was watching an outdoor show on tv last weekend and they were talking about how the alligators had rebounded to a harvestable level.
However I got a little confused when they started talking about alligator tags. .218 bee are those tags on an alligator somthin like a deer tag?

Florida's annual public waters alligator hunt. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will conduct hunts on 57 management units throughout the state during the five-week season, which ends Oct. 8. This is the 15th consecutive year that alligator hunts have been conducted on Florida's public waters.
