Well , I started my new 'part-time' LEO job , only a few hours a week?
but , the only thing , they require 'Leather' duty gear , and I had new nylon , so I had to spend some money $$$ , oh well .........
wish me luck , this is @ a small local dept. with only six (6) officers and a new chief (retired TBI), they completely have redone most everything about this dept. (inc. new officers) because of previous problems ??? should be an experience .......
Thanks !!!

Well , Nothing is Wrong with Small Dept.s , other than lack of unds sometimes , I really prefer smaller dept.s , thats where I plan to retire @ , hopefully as a cheif (again?)???
Bernard Milton Fife : my hero ....ha!ha!ha!...
My choice of carry for duty : Glock 23 (40 cal.)'on duty' & Keltec 40 cal. 'off duty'........
    Thanks !!!

    Love them Tn. LEO's[:D]http://wms.scripps.com/knoxville/siler/siler.mp3
Kinda long audio(40 min) but its good. The story is that the local sheriff's dept. raided this suspected drug dealers house but didnt know that the suspects wife left a tape recorder playing in the kitchen while the LEO's beat and tortured this guy to get him to confess where his stash was. Moral of the story is, Dont deal drugs in Tn.[:D] CAUTION: Harsh language

Moral of the story is.. When a police officer asks you a question you ought to answer quickly and truthfully.

I live in a county where there is no local police.
The only law enforcement here is the PA State Police and that barracks is closing at the end of the year.

Typical crime here is cabin breakins, occassional bar fight, domestic dispute, and mischief. Although, with the absence of the State Police as a deterent, the big boy Meth producers will be sure to move in.

The last armed robbery in this area reulted in the robber being shot and killed by the lady clerk and the last home invasion/robbery resulted in the robber being shot 3 times by the 80 year old lady homeowner. That pretty much says it all.............do we really need a police force.

The newcomers to the area, mostly wealthy retirees from downstate are all screaming for police protection. Their houses have double locks, alarm systems, night lights, and a big dog. "Who will protect us?", the say. The local district judge said in an editorial response "protect yourselves".

Congtatulations on the new adventure, I have a friend who uses Bianchi Acu-Mold Elite. It looks just like Leather, you would never know it wasnt leather by looking at it.I have the Safariland Hi-Gloss leather, and I really like it. The Belt is very comfortable and it has a level III Security Holster. If you have to buy your own Gun Belt and Holster yourself, its going to cost ya, prices are crazy for Belts and accessories. If I had a choice and it could be Nylon I would go with the plain Bianchi Accumold. God Bless, stay safe!
