What are the top velocity bullets?

    I believe Roy Weatherby pushed a light bullet in a 30-378 past 5000fps. I don't know if that's the fastest, but thats FAST!!

    I think that wildcat that uses a 338 caliber bullet in a necked down 50BMG case would probably be one of them.

    A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.

    A common rifle with a very high sustained velocity is the .220 swift.However they are hard on Barrels,so I will stick with my Ruger Model 77 22/250.
