C&P from World News Daily by the Assoc. Press. Look at the Mexican
laws on Illegal "Immigrants" which is a criminal offence there....
"The Law Library of Congress study of immigration laws in six countries found that all but Brazil have criminal penalties for illegal entry and presence within their borders.

In four of the countries _ Japan, Switzerland, Sweden and Egypt _ employers can be jailed for up to three months to up to three years for hiring illegal immigrants.

"With all the blustery rhetoric coming from opponents about a 'harsh' and 'draconian' House bill ..., I note that five out of the six countries studied _ including Mexico _ make illegal entry and unlawful presence a criminal offense," said Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis.""

I'm a firm believer that if we did something very similar the illegal immigration numbers would drop tremendously!

Difficult to enforce since our local and state governments are providing the ID in the form of drivers licenses that they use to get jobs. The employer is given the drivers license and they provide a fake social security number, so it can be many months before the social security numbers bounce out of the system.

I guess the federal ID system is the only way to ID them.
