I should be ok.I took my lawyer for the second interview it doesnt seem I will be charged but I know Im not out of the red yet.Something I found out today that threw me was I was shot with a "RG38"go figure the only oe that would ever shoot shot me!Im not sure if they are going to run this in the paper or not it hasnt been in yet they said about 10 words on the local news about it last night.If they do run it in the paper I cold give a copy to anyone wanting one.Thanks to everyone except who I noted yesterday.But I will surely take you up on that beer Mr.Nunn.God Bless.

    greetings, glad your alright ewilliams ,most of the post were good and gave good advice, but you need to make sure that all the i's are dotted and t's crossed, and don't make any statements(even now) to the press or leo's without proper council. trust me this can rock on for months, wityout any problem and then you fined you've been indicted by an over zelleous proscutor, good luck .respt submitted dads-freehold

    Ill tell you somethig else.When it happened it felt like I got poked really hard.TODAY it feels like Ive got somebody wacking me with a damn sledgehammer Im bruised from my right nipple to my groin.As dumb as this sounds I dont ever recomend getting shot..lmao

    Who the hell is going to lie about being shot and having to do the same to another human being?Not Me.I didnt appreciate yor post and I hope you got to read what I had to say about you and your attitude before it dissapeared.I appreciate the fact your willing to apologize but you need to watch how you treat people.Somebody liable to come for you one day for a stupid comment you make that is taken too far.Good Luck to you.

    Thanks competent one the doctor told me to take a regular supply of vitamins to keep my immune system healthy.He also told me to up my protein intake to help rebuild tissue and muscle damge.I will be living like a health nut for the next few months but when its over Im at Colonel Dixie for a giant chili cheeseburger!Thanks again.

    E.Williams, sorry I didn't respond earlier, since you are relatively new I didn't know if I should take what you said at face value. We get a lot of trolls around these parts who like to stir up trouble that isn't funny except maybe to themselves.

    I read your original, before you took some good advice. You went through a hell of a situation and I think a guardian angel must have been watching you. Either that, or you're one lucky SOB. If it really hurts, that's a good sign, as long as the pain starts to fade and you heal OK. Stay on top of it and don't let anything go -- your doc probably told you about warning signs of infection.

    Now, this may seem very cold blooded for me to say, and I really don't mean it that way, but the fact is what you did will make your life more complicated but you did the rest of us a favor. The other guy obviously didn't care if he took a life for the sake of a few bucks, so he is what we call a sociopath. The world is better off without him, but unfortunately you have to pay the emotional and physical consequences. So I thank you for taking the burden upon yourself to make the world a little better, just as I would thank a soldier or policeman wounded in the line of duty.

    One last thing, that guy probably had friends or family who aren't very different from him, so watch your six as you get well. Consider moving, even to a different state; I'm not kidding. All the best to you and yours. GB

    Hello Eric, Since I'm new to this forum, please excuse the intrusion, but, I'm glad that you'll be O.K.
    After all this sinks in, you may start to feel sorry for the other guy. Don't. He earned it. You just excercized your God givin right to self defense.
    Even the Bible says "He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one" (Luke 22:36) God intends for us to defend ourselves against those who attack us.
    Again, I'm glad you'll be O.K. and I hope this helps.

    I hope you can concentrate on getting better,and not dwell on what some unhuman person did to you.I know thats easy to say from my point of view.You were right,and the person who done this to you is wrong.Just dont let anyone make you feel like you have to justify your self.Because you reacted exactly as you should have.So take care concentrate on getting better.May God Bless you and your family.
