Im a member of the Sigarms Academy and I get their monthly news letter.They announced the were making a special Anniversary model for the Connecticut State Police,It is trimmed in Gold and has their Badge Emblem embedded on the slide.The chambering is the P229 .40 cal. And is availiable only to retirees or active Patrolmen.They announced in the news letter that it was the first agency of its kind.And it was Established May 29 1903.Thought I would pass this along so any one who might have retired from the agency and wanted the Handgun would be aware its going to be availiable.I also thought it was some Interesting History on the Organization.
