There was a shootout at 101 California St in San Francisco where nutcase used a Tec9 and ever since they have been viewed as the devil's playthings, according to the media.

    Good for what?!

Remember that these were inexpensive guns when produced. They do not feed as well as you might like. They sure aren't tack shooters either. I wouldn't want to put my line on the line with one.

Having said all this, I love mine. I have more of them (22LR & 9mm) than I would want my wife to know. They are fun to shoot with the 50 round mag even if it jams now and then. You can help this problem with ammo selection and mag position.

It just depends on what you want to do with t.

Some are okay and some are just down right trouble prone. Most will respond well from using a specific brand of ammo (you will just have to try several types to find what the pistol likes). Keep in mind that there are a number of slightly different pistols: TEC-9, TEC-DC9, AB-10 and none are truely identical, although they look very much alike. Here is a photo of my own TEC-9 which was a very early gun and was registered as an Any Other Weapon so that it could have the front grip legally installed.

I dont know why it posted 3 times Ive tried to delete the two extra but it wont let me?I guess it just gives me a chance to say again mine has been great.I would throw the sling over my shoulder to take along as a SHTF gun along with my sidearm, mags Rifle and ruck sack. Its true that mine isnt that accurate. But shooting at the bottom of a 55 gallon drum at 25yrds it will hit every time,it wont hold a group but it wasnt really made to be an accurate firearm, its just a fun gun.

Will Keep trying to delete the extra post[:D]

Finally let me delete the extra 2 post.Mark I like your version, thats the original Tec-DC-9 isnt it?
