Of any kind since I was 18yrs old and old enough to vote which was 1989,I can remember back to the Carter Administration but thats as far as I can remember.Has there ever been a Presidential Election more intense than this one?

I've only been voting since 1968. Have never missed a national election, probably some local stuff. I look upon voting as my only opportunity to "speak".
Regardless, what happens "we the people" end up losing our voice after the votes are counted. The country will still be run by those that "got"...in stead of "the people" or better known as the "no gots"

Your voteing record is honorable Greeker, and your theory couldnt be more true the way I see it.But what I want to know has there ever been an Election this heated?Threats of rioting and allegdly people so worried about voter fraud, and celebraty's endorseing one canadite with free concerts and appearences.I know they are some worried about acts of Terrorism. In 11yrs Ive not been lets just say assigned to work all day while the polls are open and the ballots turned in.Its going to be a long day for me and alot of others. But what little tv Ive watched this week has had constant commercials about getting out to vote. And rumors of college students skipping school and possibly attempting to intimidate older voters.I just wonder if there has been an Election this touchy before?
