The Ruger Guy has a Ruger Question?

Seems Ruger is doing Inventory this week and dont have a single person who can talk other than the Operator.My question is can you use a Ruger KP-944 .40S&W 11RD factory Mag in a KP-89 9MM as a 15 RD mag?

    Yes, but the rounds sit a little high, and may pop out if handled roughly.

    I havent taken the time to dig the Handgun out of the safe to check.Ive got several KP944 .40 S&W Mags more than I have for my Ruger 9MM's and I was going to give a couple to my Brother in Law who just bought a P-89 and it came with 2 10 RD Mags.I ordored 6 Mecgar 17 +1 RD flush fit P-89 Mags.Ive had nothing but excellnt use of their Mags,plus their the OEM for 70 some Odd Gun Manufactures.I cant see why Ruger didnt release the P-85 with 17 RD mags?I believe LEA would have been more eager to issue the guns at that time.Mag capacity was and still is a big plus for the 9MM.Thanks!
