This is absurd weather

OK, last time I B***H about the weather, and I do apologize to my Southern brethren, but this is absolutely absurd. If I wanted to live in Mississippi / Alabama / Louisana, I'd move there. It's 0300, temp 90+ & humidity is high. I don't know how high, but no stars and can't see the street lights on the other side of the bay (about 1 mile). The only AC I have is in my office (why the heck else would I be on the Net at this hour?) or in one car (because it was part of the package), but it is beginning to look like I need that as much as the furnace. Sure wish the laws weren't so screwy in Canada! Maybe we should annex them? I don't DO heat!! Give me some nice 35 - 50 degree weather any day; I'll still be wearing a short sleeve shirt.

Well, midnight here, 63 degrees after a high of 74. Sure wish summer would get here. (Of course I easily forget the 98 degrees at the match last Sat.)

Shootist, still warmer than I prefer, but at least I'd be able to sleep. Lying in bed feeling as though I were on a southern beach at high noon is not my idea of fun!

Don't move to AZ! :) I looooooooooooooove the heat. If it is below 80, I hurt!

Just buy a small window AC unit....they are $150 or so.

I live in Ar and don't think I have ever seen a car without an AC made in the past 15 years around here. The weather here has been crazy this month 85 degrees and no humitidy one week (which is really nice) and 95 with a heat index of 105 the next. Plus the other day we got 5 inches of rain in 4 hours (4 inches first 2 hours.

Be happy you're not living in Austria. My 92 year old grandma called me and said that the Danube River has flooded her whole town. Some areas of Western Europe are flooded worse than they have been for 500+ years!! Compared to THAT what's a little heat and humidity?

Im with you on the climate, and I would like 45-50 degree weather year around. My wife is from Florida,Ive been there a few times to visit the outlawsand they just have a heat pump and rarely use it in the winter. Some folks down there are opposite of us,they only have air condition, like alot of us only have heating devices. The climate has surely changed it didnt used to get this hot,and winter was always full of snow. The last 4yrs in Southwest Virginia we have only had three inches at a time and was lucky to see that much,at one time.
