Just wondering if there are any other Canadians on board? It's almost impossible to do business in the U.S. anymore when it comes to weapons and ammunition. I understand the circumstances behind the need for tighter restrictions but for hunters and collectors it's too bad we can no longer freely buy, sell or trade any more.
My grandfather bought a used Model 12 Winchester in Ogdensburg, NY in the early 50's without any problems. My dad bought a new Model 50 Winchester in Ogdensburg in the 60's without any problems. I bought a gun in the U.S. in the mid 70's without any problems. I guess now if my kids want to buy a hunting weapon they won't have the same opportunity as the previous generations. Just be limited in their selection in Canada if they can even find one to buy.
