Three Newfies went out for a day of hunting in late December. It was bright and sunny when they headed into the bush looking for game to fill the dinner pot. They had been out for hours when they realized they were lost and it would soon begin to get dark. They had a discussion as to what to do and came to the conclusion that they shoot fire three shots into the air and wait for help. The one Newfie fired three shots and they waited about an hour and heard nobody looking for them. So they had him fire three more shots and again waited for help to arrive but nobody came looking. It was now dark and they were afraid they would be out all night in the cold so they told their buddy to fire three more shots in hopes of being found. He said " I can't, I only have two arrows left"
