If they come knocking would you give up your guns or go with a fight? This is serious issue I don't if this well ever happen, but you never know. What choice would you make?

    This comes up fairly often. If you search back a couple of weeks you will see a thread on the same topic with lots of replies, ranging from bravado to elaborate plans for burial. (Of the guns, not the people.) The imagined culprits confiscating the guns range from the local police to the ATF to blue-helmeted UN troops.

    Since this comes up so often, I wonder if government agents troll around here trying to identify potential problem people? So I want you to know that if a duly authorized government law enforcement agent came for anything I had -- my guns, my money, my books, my dog, my wife, my children -- I would happily turn over whatever they require because I'm sure they must have a good reason and it's only for my own protection. And when it comes time for everyone to get a biochip implanted so that we can have a government ID that allows us to engage in legal commerce, I'll be right there first in line to get mine.

    You mention a biochip implant for positive idenity. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Big Brother isn't thinking about something like that now. I don't know, with all the threats of more terrorist attacks and highjackings, it may come to that.
    I imagine it must be pretty tough to falsify one of them, compared to a SS# or drivers license. But then again, they falsify just about everything else, and with all this high tech stuff, nothing's impossible.

    If you haven't heard yet, they already have little chips they can implant into you. I saw on the news here the other night that senior citizens are using them for medical reasons so if something were to happen to them, the doc could scan thier chip to see their medical records.
    Now how soon do you really think they will have you v-chiped?

    I already have a chip, it is on my shoulder. Maybe a topic to post should be: Has anyone had "them" come a knocking? Has anyone had their firearms taken or had to surrender them due to a protection order or by some other order of the court? This would be a more likely thing to happen rather than UN troops or BATF swat squads raiding your home (compound if you are not a liberal), atleast now and in the near future.

    Some may say it cowardice to lie and hide your firearms to keep the feds from getting them but I believe it would be an error to go into confrontation mode alone. Strategy, as in chess would be to get your pieces in place before you begin your assault. Give them something to appease them, then get organised and fight back on your own terms not theres. You will live longer as well as do more damage to the enemy.

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
