Does anybody actually own one of these?
Has anybody shot one of these?
I would like first hand knowledge on this gun.

I have a full size HK .45 USP, but it's the standard model rather than the expert. It's still my favorite gun to shoot with. No jams ever in 2000 rounds, 1.5in group at 25ft from all 10 rounds, easy to break down and clean. Feeds anything, can handle hot rounds like Corbon and hot hand loads. White 3 dot sights are easy to see and allow for fast target aquisition. Good recoil management with the double spring. Being a lefty I like the ambidextrous magazine releases.

I know this isn't the expert model, but I doubt you will be disappointed.

    Ruger --
I'd like to find one I can afford. They're a full size duty gun, and heavy at 40 oz. or more, but they are serious guns with good recoil reduction design and a rail for attachments. I'm looking forward to getting one of the USPs, either the match or the tactical, in .45, preferably with the stainless slide. Not only is the mag release ambidextrous, but the safety is also designed to be easily reversible for lefties (there is even a red dot on the right side of the slide).

You would be fortunate to own one of these, I think. The height of their popularity is past since the SOCOM was not picked up for production in more military contracts, but their heritage is advanced technology mil-spec, and high quality. They are big and strong enough to shoot +p+ all day long without wear and tear.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong but I know I remeber reading somewhere either in a gun rag or book or maybe even a post here but I know that I read it.I read that the HK USP full size would not only shoot +p and +p+ but it would also chamber and shoot .45Super.Anyone know if this is true?
