Why do the good ads always appear when I'm tapped?

Of course I don't have a lot of money to increase the gun collection right now so the classified paper is full of good deals. How about a PPK/S, chrome finish with 4 mags for $350? How about 2 boxes of 9mm Black Talon for 40 bucks? Arghhh!

    My Refrigerator is Empty, I blew the Engine in my Truck and Car, I'm out of work and I just borrowed money from a bank partly to buy a Gun (a Ruger, can you believe that)? This is all True. That's the Sad Part.

    Count me in. A good deal always comes up when I am broke, and can't
    make it to the bank I can get money from (70 miles away). Most folks
    want cash, not a check, or especially one that wont be good for a couple of days!!!

    Don't send flowers when I die. Send money now, I can buy more ammo.

    The number of good deals available is inversely proportionate to the amount of funds available. Its in the rule book, I saw it. I really did.

    One of the acolytes of the great prophet Murphy once described this particular variation of The Law, but I do not recall the exact phrasing. Nevertheless, this situation is an immutable of life.

    $40 for two boxes of Black Talons, if they are the originals, isn't *that* great a deal. I picked up several boxes for $10 a pop last winter and was quite happy to sell them for around $25 / box. But then, I'm a cheap SOB.

    For the same reason that when you have a girlfriend thats when all the girls want something to do with you.Thats just the way it is!It still sucks though.
