I have to ask.Has anyone here had any problems with this man?I went on his site to ask a question about a firearm I plan to purchase my oldest friend as a wedding present(after I asked here of course)But in his rules it said no profanity not no abbreviatio of profanity.I took note and in my queston I had put that I liked the looks of the pistol ut I didnt want to get a good looking P.O.S he got on to me like I was a 5 year old child and told me my behaviour was unacceptable.I wrote back telling him that it was just something else meaningless he seemed to take offense to along with some other non-flattering words. After readig some of the other old posts he jumps onto people for some of the dumbest things.Nevertheless I didnt like the way I reacted so I posted a apology to the man about my reaction and he nailed me again.I wonder if he would have jumped on me if I said h-e-double hckey sticks.Im sorry about bringing my gripe here but that really ticked me to be gotten on too like a child. But he seems to be knowladgeable in firearms so I guess hes o he just needs to lighten up some.I guess his post is pointless but I needed to vent in a peaceful manner.

I guess I'd better not email him.

If its one thing I've learned its that your going to meet many different kinds of people, all with their own set of rules, and thought you may not agree with them, if you don't follow them, they won't get along with you for nothing. Just ask any good street cop, and he'll tell ya. Thats why you won't really see an officer who will talk alot to a person while at work. They may ask alot of questions, but they mainly listen. Cause it doesn't take very much for a cop to offend someone, and when they do they catch alot more flak than anyone else, not only that but they represent every fellow officer there is. And boy do some people have some really wierd rules. Some people don't like cursing, and will chew you out. Some people don't like for you to look at them when you talk to them. Some people won't listen to you unless you look them right in the eye and talk to them. Some people won't talk to you untill you shake their hand. Some people won't talk to you till you talk to another person. I mean there are some weirdo's out there, and I'd have to say that engineers and doctors tend to be the worst of them.

Thought that I was the only one that felt a little weirded out on that site. Seems like you are put on notice to be ready for a chewing before you open your mouth. I don't feel free to say anything that might be taken as a put down of the .41 mag.
Marshall/Sanow vs. Fackler/MacPherson et, al. on wound ballistics is one for the books. It is ferocious and bitter to say the least. Both sides are firmly entrenched. Perhaps this attitude, believe as I do or leave, is reflected on this site.
