Using Kids as government agents.

The state of Pennsylvania has a law enforcement program called "Compliance Alliance". What it is, is the state of PA sends kids into stores to buy cigarettes. If you sell cigarettes to these government agents who are minors , as the commercials says "Youre busted".
Nice to see the state of Pennsylvania exploiting children for law enforcement purposes.
Kind of reminds me of Orwells 1984, in which children were encouraged to rat out their parents and neighbors when they comitted various crimes against big brother.

PA. also sends kids (under 21) into beer distibuters to try and entrap them. Police also pose as customers in some beer distributers to catch underage buyers (this is advertised on posters in the establishment, so they are warned).

P.S...In PA. you can't buy beer in grocery stores and you can't buy more than two six-packs from a bar. That's why they have beer distributers for cases and kegs.

And the liquer stores are owned by the state and are the only ones allowed to sell liquer. I believe that's called a Monopoly and an Infringement on Business Ownership by the People.

Seems this would work with street corner drug dealers and crack houses, as well. But I guess it's a little more dangerous than busting the night manager at a 7-11.

Why does man kill? He kills for food. But not only for food; frequently, he must have a beverage.

Ruger- One of the commercials that I heard, has two little hussies going in to entrap some cashier int oselling them cigarettes
"Can I have a pack of Marlboro"
Cashier, who is also a teen: "Uhh, I need to see some ID"
"Oh, I forgot it. Hey werent you at Pedros party the other night.(One of the girls talking to the other girl)Melissa, remember him from the party the other night-hes the cute one I told you about"
cashier; "uhhh, you can have the cigarettes, but next make sure you have ID next time."
At this point, the little teases inform him that they are from "compliance alliance", and that he is "busted".

Couldn't agree more guys. Especially on the narcotic deal. A well armed adult can wipe out a nest of dopers in short order.

If I am correct, a minor in PA who attempts to purchase tobacco products or alcohol is committing a crime and can be arrested. That whole ad campaign is a bad idea as it sends the wrong message: "Hey, kids, if you purchase tobacco or alcohol underage you will not be held accountable and the merchant will get busted for your half of the crime". What happens if a minor gets injured or killed while acting as a State informant? I'll hold my comments on the State Store system and the LCB.
