FDIC and VISA.

Just got an e-mail tonight from the FDIC that they have closed the bank in arizona that issued me my visa nextcard effective july 10th. MAN when it rains it pours, they have left me in a bind!!

    hell, i get 6-7 new cards a week. maybe i should put you on their mailing list. (i DO round file them).

    The FDIC will most likely sell the failed banks credit card portfolio to some other lender. If your account has been handled properly, the new company will continue your card. You might want to wait a few days and then contact the FDIC people at the failed bank to see what is up.
