Has anyone used orlite .223 Galil mags? Do they work or should I pay up for the steel ones? CDNN has orlite for 10-15 bucks and the steel ones I have seen run more then twice that. I have orlite mags for my AR and havent had any touble with them.

I don't have any Orlite mags for my galil, but they're definitely top notch magazines. I don't think you could go wrong with them, especially for $10-15/ea. What capacity are they? The price seems really low, considering the metal 35rd mags run for $50 and up.

When I had a Galil I used Orlite with out any issue. I have converted 7 AR Orlite mags to be used in my AR180 and no issues with these as well. I like the Orlite mags alot. [8D]

I almost gave you incorrect info on the Orlite Mags I almost mixed them up with Theramold Mags. Then it just hit me Theramold Mags are the ones Im thinking of,the Canadian Military use and they are good reliable AR-15 Mags but have been known to melt when your gun gets extremely hot. They got the nickname Theramelt mags by the Canadian Military.Ive heard nothing but positive feed back on the Orlite Mags.

Well I think I am going to get some then. I have ordered lots of stuff from this place before and always been happy. They have used orlite 35rd mags for $9.99, if I have any problem I am sure they will make it right.

I have Orlite mags, Thermold mags, and USGI metal mags. They all work well, but some of my guns ar partial to the non-metal mags.

The Orlites and Thermolds work great, and if someone happends to step on one it won't dent like the metal ones.

I have a Keltec SU-16 rifle and a Carbon-15 pistol. They both work much better with the Orlites or Thermolds. The synthetic mags, however, will not lock into place in a couple of my AR's.
