a short 3 minute video of Ballard's expedition to find the Bismarck, resting over 15,000 feet down https://youtu.be/VPppKecj-aI

a nice writeup about the wreck site and what they found

Sad that good men should do this to each other. Too bad we don't remember and regret to the point we disavow war as a way to settle our differences. Perhaps a tour of Bismarck, Arizona, and Hiroshima should be required for everyone on this planet.

May the souls of those lost on Hood and Bismarck rest in peace and fellowship. These were good men doing their duty in an evil world.

the HMS HOOD was struck or exploded 10 minutes after engaging the BISMARK...and went down in only 3 minutes taking 1415 men to death with only 3 surviving, no bodies recovered....

    thanks for the link

countless life's lost families torn apart
just so the flag's of freedom can be burned and the protesters can loot burn and dis respect every thing they died for [:(!][:(!]

even the enemy no matter who or when some had no choice and I am sure some they thought they were on the "good side" when placing there life on the line

    may they all RIP ,

Actually over 1,000 Germans survived the sinking of the Bismarck.

No one can say for sure if the majority were intentionally left to die as revenge for the Hood or if the Dorsetshire really did think it saw a periscope and took off.
    Not judging just saying

It is interesting how Bismarck ran down a mountain side and ended up buried to her waterline erect looking like she was ready to go another round

    Good video, thanks.

A wee bit beyond a scuba dive.
