I guess he won't have to worry about needing gun parts after a felony conviction.

Good. This * is in for a rude awaking, there is not much time off for good behavior in this State. I hope he enjoys his stay with us. He might even be able to meet OJ.

Likely a misdemeanor in Nevada. Felony larceny is $650 and above. Though depending on the price of the mount it might go over $650.

I was kind of surprised to see the display area as unattended as it was. He sure had plenty of time to remove the sight gizmo without anyone asking any pesky questions.

Are you trying to place blame on lack of security, instead of individual responsibility and accountability? This loser needs to lose his right to keep and bear arms. Don't go to the largest gun show on earth, steal, and expect to get away with it. If you feel like he deserves leniency, you are part of the problem.

That was in the "New Product" Area. It is not manned by company booth people and very lightly patrolled by security. (In fact they have more renta cops checking badges at the door when they should be monitoring for this kind of activity)

Our display in that area is a set of poster boards, Most companies with anything valuable in that display put them into a locked showcase. It is VERY rare to see a firearm sitting out like that. Especially with a spendy scope and mount.

Do you make a hobby of jumping to conclusions? I said none of the things you have your panties wadded over. I just said I was surprised there weren't more sales staff or ??? around. CaptFun provided further info.

You may now return to being upset that I insulted the honor of the Grand Duchy of Fenwick's flag. Good grief.

    Glad they got the punk.

The only thing I have ever stolen at SHOT was candy from the little dishes that are at some of the booths.[;)][;)]
