Colt SAA 5 1/2" 44 Spl., B/CC, but NICKEL Cylinder! Rare, Unusual.

Blued Trigger Guard, Backstrap, Barrel and Ejector Housing, with a Case Colored Frame and a Bright NICKELED CYLINDER!!! Black Eagle grips. Cylinder numbered on front. This Pristine, Un-turned, Un-fired beauty has the SMALL LETTER, one-line barrel address. GUARANTEED IN WRITING to be ALL ORIGINAL & AUTHENTIC.

The following is the reply from the seller. What do you think....is this for real? What is the value? Thanks, Vipereater

ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC, ORIGINAL IN EVERY RESPECT, AND DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK GUARANTEED!!!! Colt will give the buyer a letter proving it is completely original. I believe they now charge $100. for it. People who are knowledgeable about Colts made in the early '80s are well aware of these guns. I am the Original and Only owner and I bought IT directly from the Colt Distributor. I have the Distributor's invoice which is absolute documentation but you are welcome to get a letter from Colt and I will guarantee that it will letter or "DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK". There were a few of these RARE PIECES plus a few with nickel cylinders having BLUED FLUTES. All left the factory at about the same time. I believe that Wilkerson's latest book covers this unusual occurence. Serial Number is SA61xxx. Shipped from COLT's Largest U.S. Distributor to me early in 1983. One other interesting feature. The factory put the gun's Serial Number on the front of the cylinder so it could be authenticated at a glance as the original cylinder.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Vipereater I have learned the hardway that a guarantee is only as good as the person or company making it. Do you know this guy?
