"snake shot"

I'm curious to know if any of you has real life experience using the so called snake shot ( the pistol cartrige full of bb), and if so what caliber was used?

I use them all the time in 44, 38, and 40. They are great around the ranch.

.38 spec., with Speer shot capsule and #9 shot. Used to go to the barn and shoot rats (big rats). Head shot works great on snakes also.
