I have the day off today and watched this movie with my wife.
It has been years since I have watched a movie where I laughed and even got a little glassy-eyed[:I].

I sure like these two old fellers in the movie!!

It might be a movie to watch if you haven't seen it.

    This is classic Duvall, bolstered by Michael Caine and Haley Joel Osment. The ending does seem to water the eyes! Great movie....

    There were several times during the movie that my wife was making fun of me 'cause my eyes were watering up[;)]!

    Super movie ...

    Wish they had not of ended it with the Shieks g'son "dropping in" as I think it would have been better to have had the question of where there money actually came from hanging out there.

    Regardless, have been tellin a lot of people to go rent this one!

    Very funny movie.
    Had a problem with the money thing though.
    If it was supposed to have been stolen in the 20's and 30's why was it "today's" money. Bills back then were larger. And if it had been what they got for cashing in the gold, the same thing would have applied.
    Anybody got a LOGICAL answer...."anyone?...Bueller?...anyone?"

    Bought the DVD. It is a keeper.

    Mudge: remember, they recently returned from Africa. Set in the late 50's - early 60's.
