They better be wearing body armor.......The campus nearly rioted when Paterno was fired.

    What DON'T they protest?

Obviously inbreeding is not on that list.[xx(]

    +1,000!

Man, I don't want to be nearby when they finally stand before God and have to account for their actions in this life. It ain't gonna be pretty!

Kinda makes you wonder. IF there is an allpowerful god, just why does he allow SO MANY fallible earthlings to invent SO MANY (and frequently contradictory) interpretations of what HE wants from us? [:D] Just somethng to ruminate about over your hot toddy tonight. [;)]

oh, I HOPE they show up.

There might be enough left for the Troopers to shovel in garbage bags.

RackOps - the campus DID riot when JoePA was fired.

The WBC would be ripped to pieces[}:)]

It almost seems appropriate since Joe Paterno helped to harbor a child rapist for years.

Not that I am a fan in any way of those whack jobs.

All I can say is that all the hungry must be well fed now,and
the old and lonely must all be comforted now, and all them in
need must have had their needs met if these folks have enough
    time to protest funerals.
These people make GOD fearing folks look bad. I wish they could
find something constructive to do with all that extra time they
    seem to have.[:(]

Someday they will get theirs. Don't know when or where, but they will anger someone enough that there will be a violent attack on them at some point.

every one connected with the second mile and penn state football knew what sandusky was, including joe. but football money trumped doing the right thing for those young boys. they all kept quite or looked the other way for the football program. i live 25 miles from penn state and it was known here for years that sandusky preferd young boys. eastbank.

The bad thing about this is. Joe is dead, he was stripped of titles, his job, a long standing in the community. And Sandusky hasn't even been convicted yet. I'm not saying I take lightly what had happened, there is a lot of "he knew", several dept heads were supposedly told of Sandusky. But we will never really know what Paterno was told, what he knew, how it really went down. He's dead.
Now back to my thoughts. Paterno was convicted of wrong doing by the administration, but again Sandusky hasn't been actually convicted of his crimes yet. How can they strip him of everything, before justice has taken place with Sandusky. I hope he doesn't, but what if some how Sandusky walks after all of this. It wouldn't make sense, but neither did OJ walking. Westboro Baptist Church on their part makes me sad to think I am a Baptist by faith and upbringing. I in no way condone what they have been doing and would take no part in it. I would have to turn my head in shame for what they have been doing with not only Paterno's funeral, but their protest of the military funerals of our servicemen/women. If Paterno is guilty of knowing and covering up what Sandusky was doing, than Fire and Brimestone await him. But, shouldn't Sandusky be convicted first?

That's what I'm trying to get at. Paterno knew? But so did so many others in the Penn State Admin and programs. Yet Paterno is made to take the intense heat of it worse than Sandusky himself. I do hope Sandusky burns for all of this. There will probably be a lot more falling before it is over.

Why does anyone give a flip about what they think about anything?

Because they are God's only true messengers on Earth and we should all pay heed to them or we will all go to hell? [;)]

It seems that organizations like Westboro eventually self destruct.

Usually, its because a leader is found to be engaging in the exact activity that they profess to be sinful...

    or

They all decide to kill themselves.

    I'm ok with either one.

They better think twice as they will be coming to PA and Happy Valley may be Death Valley for them.

i personally despise what westboro does at military funerals, and have supplied the thunder at a few to drown them out.
but what patterno did for "the alma mater" and personal gain is even more reprehensible.
how many young boys are scarred for life. "americas Game" yeah, i'm sure they are fans.
i hope sandusky burns in hell, and gets reunited with patterno.

    What DON'T they protest?Non-controversial things.

They're led by lawyers. The 'church' thing is just a front for tax and government protection purposes. They live on lawsuits and their entire goal is to provoke people for potential civil actions.

    they were no shows.

with the huge turnout, plus the students, that might have been the end of the WBC
