I made a comment earlier about the National Guard being Unconstitutional. After saying this I got out my old Political Science book and couldn't find anything saying that the Government couldn't use the Military against it's own people. Does anyone know where it says this? Or is just an old wives tale. Thanks--Mark

If the same men sat down TODAY and wrote the Constitution, do you think they might do a little tweaking? What about the Bill Of Rights, maybe a few changes? Think about it.

At what point and why does our Constitution cover anyone who sneaks across our borders, yes I am referring to illegals of any nationality?

Why do we give the Rights of our Constitution to all these criminals? They should just be arrested and sent back, plus the Country of origin should be billed for the freight charges getting them home, should not be a free ride on U.S. tax payers dollars.

greetings, ibelieve your talking about the posse comintutis act. this deals with the military being used in the contin. us as a police force , doesn't pertain to the state or national guard. respt submitted dads-freehold

Anybody who thinks the National Guard is for our protection is crazy. We are involved in a chess game and the Government is slowly putting us in check mate. The NG is here to control us in a moments notice. Remember the movie Seige with denzel washington and bruce willis-that is the future of our country....

greetings again, while i agree with your concern of the federal government over stepping it's bounderary. the specific use of the national guard, coast guard, navy and even the marine corp is not forbidden by the posse comintatus act. the army and air force are the only ones mentioned. in the movie "the siege" it is a mote issue for marshal law has been declared, at that point jurist prudence is in suspension and the army for all practical purposes is the law. only the government can suspend marshal law once it is declared and unlike the hollywood view the fbi can't userp the power of the army with out an excecitive order. thus you would not see bruce willis capitulating to denzil washington and crew, more likely they would have been executed on the spot. marshal law is the last grasp of a country in chaos at stabilty, and usualy comes to little to late. i have seen it executed in s viet nam just before the fall , the phillipines under marcos and aquinno, and several south and central american countries, it is never a pretty sight. respt submitted dads-freehold
