I just downloaded an application to become an air marshall.i travel for a living as it is and it would be a welcome change to stop living life through a windshield.Do any of you know any air marshalls, are there any air marshalls on this board??i would like to know any job description info any of you have seen, also, the knowledge skills and abilities how far should i stretch my military training.I was on a counter terrorism team in the navy,we learned lots of tactical stuff as well as apprehension, search etc etc...should i try to imply that i know this stuff like the back of my hand or state (truthfully)that i know enough about that stuff that i could be easily trained

    Air Marshal Application

    (1) Are you an American citizen? (Yes) (No)

    (2) Do you love your country? (Yes) (No)

    (3) Do you own a handgun? (Yes) (No)

    (4) Can you hit what you shoot at? (Yes) (No)

    (5) Will you shoot to kill? (Yes) (No)

If you answered "Yes" to all of the questions, you are hired.

If you answered "No" to questions 1 or 2, go live somewhere else.

If you answered "No" to questions 3 or 5, you're a fool.

If you answered "No" to question 4, get some training and reapply.

    Well SUBMARINER,

You just better hope "good typing skills" is not a requirement for the job.

This Job must require Typing, because yours has gotten much better suddenly.

Ever heard the word "Propaganda?" I haven't ever seen one, (no confirmed sightings by me or anyone I know), yet, the fine government protectors keep telling everyone "they're out there!" Just what the hell is an "Air Marshall?" If no one has ever seen one, why should I believe there are such things? I know, I know! It's because I'm told there is such things! Think the Terrorists believe this too?

A friend of mine applied for this job several months ago. He has college degree, is a member of a large police department, on the swat team, can shoot just about any weapon at the expert level. I believe his reply was, "Don't call us, we'll call you". Has heard absolutely
nothing in several months. I don't know how many are being hired and
don't know what qualifications they are looking for, but don't quit
your present job waiting for this one.

    Submariner,
They stopped taking CAS (Air Marshall) applications in May 2002.
Go to the web sight and watch for future vacancy announcements.
    good luck

A gentleman I know was hired as an Air Marshall recently. He was a Navy Seal and most recently was employed as an LEO...Big guy, I would not want to tangle with him....

If I became a air Marshall could I carry my gun on all flights and to any city that I wanted to???

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

greetings, just a thought but big bro is probably running a background check, can take several months, esp if any flag come up. so unless your built like pam anderson or have a face like victoria platt, just be patient. its not like an intern getting a top secret clearance anymore. respt submitted dads-freehold a fronte praecipitium a tergo lupi
