Here is the reply I go when I e-mailed Panera about GB being blocked on their wi-fi conection. I think its a bunch of bull, and they can tell Sonic Wall to allow what they want (after all it is their stores).

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for contacting Panera Bread. We are happy to know that our free wi-fi service is valuable to you, and we appreciate your comments. As part of offering free wi-fi in our bakery-cafes nationwide, it is important that we maintain the community tone and standards that Panera Bread is known for. Panera Bread has partnered with Sonic Wall, a top software company that maintains lists of categories and sites they recommend for filtering. With millions of sites on the Web, sites sometimes can be blocked in error. At the request of wi-fi users like yourself, Sonic Wall reviews and reassesses them on an as-needed basis.

If you feel a site has been blocked in error, you may submit a URL rating review request at http://cfssupport.sonicwall.com.

Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns. Again, we thank you for visiting Panera Bread and using the free wi-fi service that we are proud to provide.

Sincerely,
Isabella

basically, they are relying on netnanny like software instead of having a real corp admin who has a clue

I wrote them back and told them that the desitions that Sonic Wall was makeing Must be their desitions too because the service is being provided by their stores. I also told them I was posting their repy to me on every gun rights organization's boards that I could find asking all legal gun owners to not buy from their stores.

When I was attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids MI a couple years ago their filter blocked Gunbroker. I emailed the administrator and informed them that this site was not in any way dangerous or extrimist (I didn't tell them about the opinions of certain forum members however) and they unblocked it. Looks like what you got here is a passing the buck.
