    quick story since your bashing the PA highway department. We installed a weigh-in-motion system at numerous weigh stations in PA a few years back. The point of this system was to keep the semis from stopping as they pulled into be weighed. Well one particular station, won't mention where, seemed to be a bit lazier than the rest and they always had problems with everything. Well when winter came on that station tore up 12 different sensors which ran between 8 and 9 hundred dollars each. We made plenty of their mistakes, but I found it hard to believe it took them that long to explain to their highway snow plowers they couldn't drive over top those scales with their blades low enough to catch the sensors.
