What dog food brand do you use?

This forum is probably as crazy about our dogs as we are our guns, and dog food is something I researched pretty heavily before making my own choice.

I went with Fromm.....and I'm still the only person I know of that feeds it [:)]

I'm sure there's some people feeding raw diets, you guys feel free to jump in too.

When we had dogs we fed them purina. We no longer have any dogs,they've all died. Wait,that didn't come out right.

Purina,we feed all our pets purina.

I use Diamond (lamb and rice)and both Border Collies coats are so shiny it almost hurts to look at them in bright sun light!!

I go through 300 pounds a month so I always buy the 50 pound bags.
US or Canadian made only. KalKan, Purina, or Tractor Supply Brand.
I check the bar codes to make sure it's NOT CHINESE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

We buy purina in the blue bag for our Black Lab Daisy. The people we got her from said to stick with that dog food. We varied one time and found out why Daisy needs the purina in the blue bag.

Daisy farts like an F5 tornado on any dog food other than purina in the blue bag.[xx(][xx(][xx(]

Not quiet or gentle farts either, she farts loud and they stink, worse than I could ever do even after drinking a case of Black Label![:D]

Yep, purina in the blue bag here.....

That is what I was thinking. I was like, "Holy crap," 300 lbs.

I like Sportsmans Pride. 28% protein, 18% fat. (It may be regional.) I went to the local, Farmers supply store, and purchased a 50lb. bag of "The Pride." 24% protein, 20% fat. My dog seems to love it. I increase his fat intake, in cold weather, in order to help him keep warm.

I take in strays. It varies, but around 30 I think. They run the gamut from bull mastiffs and Husky to teacup Chihuahuas.
I can't save them all, but I save what I can.

Pedigree. We have used that for over 20+ years and all our dogs live long healthy lives. Were happy and the dogs have never said anything bad about it. We even feed the stray cat the dog food and she never bitches either. Oakie

I feed my boy Dads. I also give him beef, pork or chicken just about every night.

That is awesome Roboz. I supplement my dogs food, with chicken, beef, and lots of fresh veggies. (He loves anything.). What kind of dog do you have??

if it is colored its crap, dogs are color blind they add coloring to attract humans to buying it

This is what I use as well. Grain-free all the way. Down to two dogs now, a 14 yo Springer Spaniel and a 2 yo KC Cavalier Spaniel.

My rat terrier eats Purina One. And also the original, first dog food ever fed, table scraps.

The breeder we purchased from recommended IAMS chunks and we have stuck with it for 4 1/2 years so far. Recently switched to grain free. When he was a year old I substituted half his daily ration with homemade food (chicken, Brown rice, peas, carrots). I vary it occasionally by adding liver, pumpkin, and lean ground beef in place of chicken. We have consistently good weight and wellness checks with vet.

Have a black Lab that scratched a lot and had plenty of dandruff. Vet recommended Taste of the Wild Pacific Salmon. It is grain free and chicken free (2 common skin allergies in dogs) with high oil content. No more scratching or dandruff and Jack is shiny and happy.[:)]
