    I would like to see one of those planes spread some retardant on that semi.
    I would also like to see the damn fire that supposedly caused the truck/car fires and the planes dumping on them..
    They know what people like. A good car/truck fire WHERE SOMEONE MAY BE COOKING INSIDE,is too good a tragedy to waste..A_HOLES!!

    They are dumping Phos-Chek "A" that is for vegetation. Phos-Chek "B" foam is what they need for the truck fire. Water is the best bet at this point. Bad part about air tanker drops in that situation is the people around it. I have been nailed twice, if your not ready it's not fun.

    This is 20 miles from me, it is so dry out here that the whole place is a tinder box and the fact that it is over 100 degrees today doesn't help matters. As sad as the fire and destruction of property is the biggest issue with this fire is the closure of HWY 15, most of you guys from out of state might not realize that there are only 2 major northern routes out of the LA basin due to the mountains, you have HWY 5 and HWY 15, no traffic moves in or out of this area without taking one of those routes.

    If you saw the tanker headed for you, lay down and hug the base of a tree HARD.

    Any updates, the live feed went dead. The fire was on the national news to and they were talking about the limited roads out over the mts.

    I think if I were a "Smoke Jumper" I would kind of welcome some cold water .I would have no trouble putting a tree between me and the tanker...
