finally finished fencing in the pasture!
there's a 1/4 mile of white vinyl fence and 1/2 mile of 5 strande barbed wire fence on 8" poles.
last month I tilled and seeded the pasture. It's taken me until today to finish the fence and gates.
the pasture connects to the corral and the barn around back.
the horses seem to like it!

Yep. are you close by?
the grass/weeds in the foreground is part of the old field. the horses and cow are busy mowing it now. the new planting is 4-5" tall now so it will be ready for "mowing" in a week or two.
I also feed alfalfa, so I can put another couple critters on the pasture.
have to get a boyfriend for the year old longhorn![:p]

He must have miniature Shetland ponies if 8" poles will keep them in! Just breaking balls...nice work on the fence.[:)]
Looks nice, just hope the bar ditch doesn't catch fire...
you couldn't pay me enough to do 120 acres!![xx(]

the white vinyl was the wifes idea/request (read that DEMAND)
I would have been happy with a 2 wire electric fence!
