I am making machine gun belts as fashion accessories and need to know the cheapest way to get the components I need such as dummy ammo, and machine gun links. Here is a pic of what I am doing.

If you can give me any help, please write me directly at coolthingz@chartermi.net

THANKS
LAURIE

can buy inexpensive .308 ammo that is already linked up at http://www.centuryarms.com. Then you can simply drill into the side of the bullets and remove the powder. They have belts of 160 rounds for about $23.00

If for some reason you can't purchase live ammo, if a friend of yours has a reloading press you could purchase brass and bullets from the leading online auction site that begins with an "e" and ends with a "bay," and then have them slapped together without powder inside.

I remember many years ago, as a biker, having a Chrome Primary Chain Belt.
I'm sure some of you older bikers had one at some point in your life.

PS. I would wear one of those belts of yours if my pant loops were just bigger.(NOT!) Hey I'm just kidding. I'm sure theres a market for something like that to a younger crowd. I know of a place that sells militaria items to the 25 and under crowd. It's in the 300 block of Queen St. Lancaster, PA. next to a nostalgia clothing store called Zaps.
Why can't you use spent shells and shove or glue a bullet in the casing.

Although it has been popular with bikers in the past, bullet belts, bracelets and the such, are currently very popular with the PUNK crowd.

They make much more money as belts then ammo :-)
