posting problem

When posting an item I can't go back after reviewing it to make changes. Using IE6, when I click the back button from the review screen, everything is gone and I have to enter all the information again rather than being able to just change the one thing I want to change. Does anyone know of a setting to change to be able to go back? On Auction Arms there is a button at the bottom of the preview page that returns to the input page without losing all the data. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If I understand you correctly, all you have to do is move your arrow behind what you wish to change on the original format and click your mouse left and backspace to where ever you wish to correct then type the intended change as you normally would type spaceing etc.Hope this helps.

    Welcome aboard!!

If you are logged on, you can go back to your post and edit it by using the little pencil icon. Only way to do it as far as I know.

I use IE-4 not IE-6, so I don't know if it is the same, but this might help. What it sounds like is that you do not want a (new page) when you hit the back button. If you click "VIEW" then "INTERNET OPTIONS" then under the General tab it says (temporary internet files) click on "SETTINGS" Then you change it from (every visit to the page) to (every time you start internet explorer). Keep in mind that if you change this it will effect EVERY page you visit. You can always change it back. Hope this helps.

If I knew then, what I know now.

Thanks to all who replied and pickenup, thanks and yes you are correct. I got a response from the support people saying to set it to "automatically" or "every time you start internet explorer" and when I checked it is already set to automatically. I guess it's back to the drawing board for a while. I already suggested to our guy who does the listing to go ahead and post it and then edit it. That works unless you need to change the photos he tells me and they can't be changed on an edit. I'm going to look at Netscape and see if that will solve the problem unless I get more suggestions here.
