Deer stands, I think we are ready.

This is a shot of my 80 acres showing the locations of most of the deer stands. The "rectangle" marks the boundry. This picture is a little old, the new house was built at (1) and that double wide is gone; we put up a shop there this summer. We've spent the last two weekends scouting (although after 10 years we should have a pretty good idea where the deer move) and fixing up the stands. I hunt on 2 and 5 most of the time. There is a large corn field to the west (top) and it has not been cut yet. It will rain most of this week and I hope it dries out so they can cut it before the season starts on the 13th of Nov.
Here is a shot of my "hunting cabin"
Don't you just love woman that wants to live out here (six miles to the closest town) and enjoys the same things you do? I am a lucky man.
Wishing you all a safe and fruitful hunt this year.

Not with that Cub sticker you don't.
Actually that stand is a good one. I shot a six pointer off that one 3 years ago in the middle of the day. Had a big deer (couldn't tell what) about 50 yards away in some really thick stuff last year during the second weekend of the season. Never got a good look or a shot. You know your stands.....
