My girlfriend of about ten months just bought me a Ruger p-95!Just because! She went with me to Academy Sports here in Mobile, and couldn't stand to see me salivating at the new pistol display. So without hesitation, she said "You really want one?""Well..." I said,
"I already have four pistols."
"Yeah,but you don't have a Ruger auto-loader!"
"No... but I do have the Redhawk."I replyed
"O.K. Look,You buy dinner, and those new Assic tennis shoes I'm looking at,and I'll spring for the Ruger!"
"DEAL!!!"
She'e one in a million!

I have to agree with Harleeman1030.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Pretty sweet set up! Dinner and shoes for a new pistol! I once
    bought my dad's bass boat for $2 and a knife...but that's family!
I had one girlfriend once who was going to buy me a $300 sword...
but I found out after we broke up. Had I known, I could have held
    out a few more months!
    That's a great woman,
May you have many years of shooting enjoyment together!

Mrs. Icon bought me new plates because she didn't like the pattern on the ones I had when we were married. I told her I could buy paper targets for a lot less! Damn near used them for that, too.

soundguy, don't buy any more firearms for a while, invest in pretty colored rocks!!!!!!!!!!

I sure wish you guys would keep these things to yourselves. Its just not fair that some guys wives and even girlfriends buy them guns when others only buy clothes. I could do without underwear for several years if it meant getting a new HK USP Compact.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

As Mrs Rembrandts proxy, I can get any gun I want....

...before you get married, make sure you have a pre-nuptual agreement drawn up giving you power of attorney for gun purchases and gun shows. Then when you come home with a new toy and catch the heat, just produce the signed agreement as a reminder.....

....."yes dear, I'm coming"....ooops, gotta run, Mrs Rembrandt wants me to take out the garbage and walk the dogs....

I will continue to buy guns for Classic, when he is with me.. when I am alone... as gifts.. whatever and where ever the mood hits me...

Reason?... he treats me like gold... and the words in love comes to mind...*EG..

He suprised me today with a gift... No..not a gun... but he knows I collect roses... We were at a flea market this morning... (usual thing on sat and sun)...and I went to get some produce... Met up with him and over coffee he gave me the gift... a 14k gold ring with a long stemmed rose in the centre of a circle...very delicate and tiny... in an *old* style setting... It was so thoughtful and sweet..

Buying gift for each other for no reason is one of the things people in love do... It can be a small inexpensive gift, or pricey... doesnt matter... means the same thing really...

We are going to the gun show tomorrow, but I know I wont find what he wants at one of the shows... reason we are going?... Cause he wants to take me to my first gun show... Sappy?.. Perhaps to some men...Sappy? to a woman?... Never...Little things mean the world to us, and we respond ... how?.. by buying gift... or by... well you fill in the rest.. *LOL

BR....When I took Mrs. Mudge to her first gun show I was amazed and delighted. She was like a kid in a candy store. Took an interest in EVERYTHING shootable. Her I am 'splainin' all these firearms (from a Jennings to "Ma Deuce") to this beautiful woman and all these guys are watching. She thought they were watching to learn something. I told her "No they're checkin' you out."
I sure Classic will experience the same thing.

    Mudge the fortunate.

I can't come to work today. The voices said, STAY HOME AND CLEAN THE GUNS!

If I decided to buy another gun today, she said she wouldn't have a problem with it!But, I'm smarter than that!I'm buyin' a bright shiny
rock on a precious metal band!
Get this...for an engagement ring, she does NOT want a diamond! She does not believe in supporting a monopoly(DeBeers)! She wants her birth stone(peridot)! We are going ring shoppin' this week!

Isnt it great to have a girl that understands guns and will buy one?
