Some of you know that I want to be a LEO. It is something I have been wanting to do as long as I can remember. I have a great job now with great pay but I am no longer happy sitting at a desk all day. I think I will go for it next year. I need to buckle down and get in shape ( siting at a desk has made me round). I am also thinking of taking a Criminal Law class or something at the University to prepare I also heard that that helps with the pay. Is that true??

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

    We need all the good LEOs that we can get. I used to have many friends in law enforcement, mostly Sheriffs and Border Patrol, because I shot NRA Bullseye Pistol for 20+ years. A better group of guys there is not......well, a couple of them were ******. But, it's like that in every group. Some of the LEOs on this board will tell you about the classes, but I know that my buddies were always taking extra classes and training to advance themselves. Good Luck and don't wait until you are too old to do what you really want to do.
