Here's a real crapper, we're sending aid and money to one of the biggest terroist states, Iran, in the world. Heck, I applauded when the earthquake hit, 28,000 fewer potential terroists and counting.[}:)]

My 100% American friend of Iranian descent who sits next to me at work is grieving because he still has family over there. Family who oppose the arabic extremist terrorists as much as anyone. Family who have children that are now dead.

Family that have to live in the same world as insensitive and arrogant people like yourself.

To whom much is given, much is expected.

Why I'm getting all mushy inside, that's the best compliment I've had since a former boss called me a Barbarian. Gee, I didn't know you cared.[:0] Oh, and by the way, does your friend remember all the kind hearted fellow countrymen who paraded American hostages around and tried to make a fool of my Country?

Yes, he remembers them. He remembers them just as vividly as the goverment troops who came to his home and arrested his father, a university professor, for speaking out against the regime and the rule of the mullahs. He remembers them just as vividly as when all his families property was stripped from them and they were thrown from their home. He remembers them just as well as his father sneaking him out of the country when he was a boy just so that he would not have to be conscripted into a meanigless war and fight for those religious fanatics. Yes, he remembers...that's why he loves America so much. But he also remembers all of the people who oppose the fanatics who are now dead. He remembers the innocents that are dead.

He remembers the times we was beat up as a kid when he came over here becuase he was from over there. And he still loves America. He remembers the guys a couple of months ago who jumped and beat him and told him that no "sand *" belonged in his country (guys like you). And he still loves America.

Let me tell you something - and you probably won't understand because your heart is so twisted and your view so narrow - but American is great in spite of people like you.

Sorry, toolman---I've got to say, that was a bit over-the-top....

Think about this: aren't you doing the same thing that the extremists are doing? "America is the Great Satan, all Americans deserve to die", etc.? You can't go painting ALL the Iranians as terrorists, just because of their noisy extremist clergy and their followers, because I seriously doubt every man Jack of them think that way...

Maybe I was a "hair" too extreme, if your friend loved his country and didn't believe in the radicals that were in control, why didn't he and others do something about it. Our founding Fathers didn't like the tyranny that was controlling them so they did something about it. If a radical group were to ever take over this country would you flee or fight? I would fight for what I believed in even if it meant death.

So I guess you agree with the radicals who also applauded when the Twin Towers were hit? Seems you are in the same boat, aren't you? [;)]

Gee HAIRY it took you this long to jump in, I'm amazed. Well I guess our enemies applauded when the Towers fell, so when our enemies houses fell I applauded. I will not to pretend to like the people who are in control of Iran, the deader the better. If innocent non radical decent thinking Iranians died, then I'm sorry, but what do you think the percentages are? I didn't see Iranians and Palestinians weeping on the news when the terroists flew the planes into the towers, I saw them celebrating in the streets. I don't believe everything I see on the news, but that was pretty convincing on how they felt about us.

If I were eleven years old (as he was) I don't expect I would be expected to fight.

I recall a lot of Palestinians celebrating in the streets, but I didn't see any Iranians. In your ignorance, I doubt you know there is a difference.

In fact, a most of the Iranian general public is very pro-American. It is their leaders that are not.
