Thanks for the scope. It will go on a blackpowder rifle for the upcoming season. It is very much appreciated.

I saw on your user gun picks thread that you own a Taurus 617 snubbie.I have had one offered to me in a package deal and am wondering your overall opinion of the gun.Recoil, quality, accuracy, trigger pull etc..I have never fired one only handled it in the shop so Im looking for first hand experience.Thanks.

Like I said in the post with the pic, that's the gun I'm trusting my life with. It is very accurate. Recoil is very low. My model has porting. There is a spring loaded spacer between the cylinder, and the barrel, to eliminate any blowby. They come with a lifetime warranty. I read a article that Taurus is the only gun manufacter that makes all of its own gun parts. The 1 drawback that I do see is the grips. I have a large hand, and the 3rd, or last notch for my finger is tight. I paid 349.99 for mine new. It also comes with the trigger lock set screw. I heard of a user wearing the key around his neck. I keep mine locked at all times, because I have a young son. Hope this helps.
