Robbery Inside Indoor Shooting Range- C&P

November 26, 2005 - There was a robbery that turned violent in northeast Philadelphia.
It happened the C and C Sports Center, an indoor shooting range and gun shop, on Geiger Road. Investigators tell Action News, just after 10 Friday night, three men burst inside for a hold up. They stole guns and cash from the business. Police say the owner was able to grab a gun in the store and chase the suspects away.

The men were allegedly shot at and one may have been wounded.

They dropped a number of guns as they ran away. So far, no arrests.

    When I lived in Philadelphia, I was a member at that range. The owner is crazy for cats and had about 30 cats running around the shop, crapping all over the place. Cats on the counters, cats on the floors, cats everywhere! I seem to rememember there being a hold up in that shop about 15 years ago. I went there one night to shoot and the owner was in there shooting full auto weapons with a porn star, Marilyn Chambers...I got an autographed 8x10 glossy! The owner was a moody miserable guy and acted like you were bothering him if you wanted to look at a gun.

    Our indoor range is also a gun shop. Run by Retired CHP and Sheriff officers. Don't think these guys would have gotten 2 feet out the door,
    they still carry in the shop.[:D][;)]
