That S55 was made in 1956, the standard issue would be worth around $700 in very good condition, but this has lots of extra's.

hell ya, that engraving is way beyond factory. As someone else said, the standard gun is worth about 700 maybe more in a good economy.
A couple of years ago, vintage Beretta's really started up.
