Second issue. As we have not used our account for a bit (about 6 months), now when I am trying to list an item for sale I am getting a message that says that our account has not been verified (even tho' our account shows as active) and that we must verify our account. When I click on the verification link it starts asking me all sorts of information where my mortgage is and how much I pay on it as well as other accounts. Is this something new? Is this legitimate? How and why do they have this information about me and why would I need to verify that type of information? This has me very concerned as I'm worried it might be a phishing attempt. [:(]

I'm kidding, I can't answer your questions, support can, and I'm sure somebody with red stars will tell you something similar. You might just have to wait on an answer from support.

I got the same thing when I went to sell something. GB wanted me to verify my account. I filled in my current banking information and GB said they were going to make a small deposit in my account and when I contacted my bank and found out the amount of the deposit I then forwarded it to GB. Well my bank gave me an incorrect amount of the deposit and now I am locked out. I emailed support but keep getting nothing but an auto-reply. I don't know how to get my account going again. Any help with this. Thanks
Ten years later, nothing has changed: no one in the forums is a Gun Broker employee- myself included, nor can we solve any auction related problems.
Only GB Customer Support can address these sorts of issues.
