...and rain and rain and ...........!
It's been raining for days here and shows signs of raining the rest of the week. I've got a big job to do but just can't get to it in the,yes, "rain". Quess I'm stuck in the shop again today making wood things and listening to the talk shows. Don't mind it too much but feel I need to be out working that makes money. Coffee sure is good though and watching the news on tv while I "craft things ain't so bad. If this keeps up, I'm gonna get lazy![xx(]

    Snowing here. Think I will stay inside today. Might be a good day to try out some of that Blue Wonder Gun Blue. Hmmmmmmm.....

    I'm startin' to grow skin between my toes, Daddo. If this keeps up I'm gonna have to start moving my tractor and other stuff in the barn to higher ground. We've had enough rain that I'm now on flood watch. The bayou behind my house is at the edge of the bank. Any more rainfall and she'll spill over. I'm sure glad we're on stilts.

    Been rainin' off and on for two days.Maybe a couple of inches up till this morning.Been comin' down pretty steady all morning and I'm FINALLY starting to get some run-off.My catfish oughta be happy now!!

    Rain let up so I got in the truck to at least drop off the equipment, then the clouds started falling again and just as hard as before--getting frustrated!!!! Can't let this equipment get too wet- have $2,100.00 in it. Customer wouldn't like that.
    ***Just heard on the scanner-- Train hit something! Gonna check it out!

    Down here, in this marsh/rice land we call S.E. TEXAS, there ain't any high ground.

    That's another reason I'm gonna' eventually make my home in West TEXAS.

    I have seen enough rain to last me a lifetime! Sitting here watching vh1 and mtv. I'll be movin equipment around on plywood for the next month or so.
