another scope base question

I want to move my 30mil. scope to another rifle.That rifle has standard bases on it.Question will std. bases work with 30mil. mounts? Will I have to buy 30mil. bases ? I don't know if it matters
but the mounts are leupold. Thanks

    Do you mean 30mm rings? If the bases are weaver style Clamp on, no problem.
