I was in the hill country turkey hunting, but I was just told that there was a 3.1 earthquake in Arlington, TX Saturday morning. Did anyone in the area feel it?

I was sitting right here typing at the time. Not really what I would call a quake, just one thump. T'storms came through earlier that morning and I thought it was a leftover cloudburst. Shook the house one time. Felt like an underground gas line blew.

    3.1 earthquake in Arlington,

A 3.1 out here is CA would hardly get any ones attention.[:D] The rolling ones most of time are soft. It the ones that jolt in the 5+ range that can wake you up.

And for the ones that don't know the scale 3.1 to 3.2=100x stronger.

Less than 3.5 Generally not felt, but recorded.

3.5-5.4 Often felt, but rarely causes damage.

Under 6.0 At most slight damage to well-designed buildings.
Can cause major damage to poorly constructed buildings
    over small regions.

6.1-6.9 Can be destructive in areas up to about 100 kilometers
    across where people live.

7.0-7.9 Major earthquake. Can cause serious damage over larger areas.

8 or greater Great earthquake. Can cause serious damage in areas several
    hundred kilometers across.
