Do you know Pirate (Oley Gunther)or Herbie (Micheal Clark). I used to hang around them a bit.
Also do you ever get to Kerstings Cycle Shop? I also used to hang around with Russel Hendren. He runs the shop for Jim Kersting. And last time I saw him, He had the fastest harley in the wrold. A nitro burning sportster. But that was 15 years ago.

I spend a lot of time on the road and I have a qustion or two maybe you can answer for me. Why is it that most of the 'cruiser' or Harley drivers seem to be responsible and competent riders while the low-slung fart in a tin can rice burners seem to want to impress people with their total disregard for all traffic laws? Why do these people seem to drive with apparent impunity to the law?

Every time one of these little rice burners cuts me off in traffic I mutter to myself "keep driving like hell, you'll get there".

When we go fishing we get up that way but we'er only there a short time. Not long enough to get meet anyone outside the eateries and gas stations. I now get into Pulaski County more as I tend to deer hunt that area. I'm from Morgan County were it gets rolling with hill and hollows.

Cant quit place Morgan County. Assume it is down around Bloomington?
People here in the south dont beleve me about all the deer up there. Thay think I'm crazy when I tell them about herds of 30 or more crossing a corn field. Then again thay dont belive corn can grow 12 ft tall.
That not being able to use a rifle up there to hunt deer sucks! But could you imagin the harvest if you could? Picking them off at 400 yards or more.
Since you know pulaski county I hope that you wont hold it against me. I grow up in Francesville.
Toolbabe wants me for dinner. Gotta go.

North of Bloomington 5 miles south of Martinsville and yes the deer are plentiful. We get 3 bonus in this county alone besides one buck. I have been seeing sign and plenty of runs around my house which is in the middle of the woods. Sad thing is a lot of snakes as well. Neighbor knocked off a 4' plus rattler on Thursday and it had 11 rattles and a button. Last year it was two rattlers. I account of one copper head and found one dead on a gravel road my wife and I walk this year. The corn is close to 10' now. This year we can use .410 with slugs. That new Winchester lever action will be the ticket.

One time in Medaryville thay found a rattle snake it was a big thing.
You would think here in SC I would have a lot of snakes. But I dont. Since I have lived on my 12 acres we have only seen one snake. A copperhead. He had a meeting with a 12 ga. How ever my neigobor ran over a rattler in the road last year. It had to be 6 ft long.
Last year I saw 3 wild hogs along the creek right by the road. Did'nt have a gun with me. But would like to try hunting one. But thay hang out in the swamp and I dont like snakes.
