Militia members get lengthy prison terms for bomb plot

Sacramento, California-AP -- A pair of militia members have been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison.

They were convicted of plotting to blow up a giant propane storage facility south of Sacramento, California.

The judge says they showed a callous disregard for human life. But he didn't give them life sentences because they never actually built the bomb.

The men were convicted of conspiracy in May. Witnesses testified the men wanted to force a government crackdown by causing a massive explosion. They hoped Americans would then rise up against the government.

Their lawyers say the men were simply big talkers, and they never would have carried out the plan.

Assault with intent to commit murder is now a charge for wishing that driver that just cut you off "drives himself into the ditch." Don't think! Hahahahaha!! That's good! Hell of a lot of them out there can't anyway!! Hahahahaha!!! Go to jail for thinking.....guess that's why so many are only taking up air.......

there is much more to this story than what we have here. merely emailing about something would hardly get a conspiracy verdict. There were othersinvolved, or plans discussed, or a SPECIFIC target, time frame, method, etc. get the whole story, then react.

Give your kids roots and wings. and dont forget the guns!!
